This is a personal ongoing project aimed at raising awareness for the dangerous state of video games preservation, in particular with the prevalence of remakes.

Video Game Remakes have become incredibly popular in recent years, but publishers often treat the originals as disposable and replace them with the remakes in storefronts and search engines. The remakes also tend to not include the details and atmosphere of the originals, offering a less complete experience while not respecting the original vision. The continuation of this practice is unsustainable for the industry and the interactive medium.

My goal is to start out with a few critical analysis essays and hopefully create a youtube series to raise awareness about it.
